I wasn’t around for whatever Hacking/Attacks/Whatever Took Place, but personally, i’d disassociate myself with anyone doing such a thing. I always felt that TLR was somewhat bias towards larger, more established mods. I also noticed a reluctancy to share certain modding knowledge with new members. Not that I think that’s relavant to this discussion.
I’d Advise you to Remove the links, but I have no say in how this site is run. Your choice guys…

azza stole the script… uploaded it to his server and hosts the “Freelancer Community Network” now without permission of the script owner, without the permission of the owners of the Freelancer Community Network and without the permission of all those which are presented there.

Theft - a clear copyright violation and very poor behaviour.

Inclusion of TLR in the “official” Network is suspended until further explanations are given by a TLR Staff member.

I hope i dont cause any offence but when i put the bar up onto site our pages where loading very slow as their is slowdown sometimes on starport…

so i have put it server side on tlr to keep our site without that slowdown when starport slows as it keeps waiting for script to load from ur site.

I will keep the links up to date by following the thread on ur site but i realy dont wish to slow lr down buy loading script from ur site. Hmmm im not sure if im making sence please let me know what you think.

I have put the .js and to image files onto tlr so our pages dont get slowdown as sometimes had to wait 30secs.

if you dont want me to do that i understand and will remove it totaly but its massive shame as i think people will like to use it.

what i also find interesting is mention of copywrite when we all know half the sites are hosting material that was pulled from lancersreactor backup also freelancer arcive contains porn! lol .

next to deal with you swat… you have registered under multiple users on our forum with no other intention but to cause dissruption i am trying to mend my ways but it doesnt mean i will sit and watch you carrying on.

When do they start to act reasonable… they again violated a regulation - stole the script and presented this under their name Not bad…

I for myself wont give them access to this bar until they somewhen proved to be part of it.
Its again a very poor behaviour of the site admins of TLR to have chosen that way.

Every other in this bar has posted here to get mentioned into it and every point was proven. Why shouldnt they follow the steps as every other men/women here?

And to load the graphics and script to your own site to prevent delay loading times is a joke or?
I am sure the background image on your site needs more time to load

once the bg image is loaded its cached each time page is loaded with script its like new and when sp has load problems on their site it effected loading of page i can easy prove this concept if you wish

indeed its cached same like the script (client sided)

so if sp has load problems its taken from the client storage device - isnt it - same like with the bg image
No need to prove it m8 - i know that you can cause server load on sp

I will apologise firstly as I have not checked TLR for a week (I have been to Glastonbury ;)) so I did not recieve that PM.

It is wrong to go ahead and do this without the permission of the SP. To be honest, we were quite happy (as Admin & Staff) to include TLR. But now I think alot of people wont be so accomadating.

I will refrain from posting my opinion for the time being and await to hear from Wodk4 and some others in regards to this.

But please guys (@OP and Azza) lets keep the discussion civilised here.

1. your explaination does not explain why suddenly TLR is listed as link without approval
2. to take without asking is still wrong
3. mentioning that other FL sites are build based on TLR material and saying that this has something to do with copyright issiues is somewhat weird as TLR hold exactly 0 copyrights on the files (downloads) that are used on other sites
TLR has 0 exclusive rights on those files especially since they were released for public (until the original author does say something different
4. TLR still hosts a bunch of my files eventhough i requested the removal (this is another copyright issue)
5. You still seem to make unreasonable claims about me and keep ignoring all the stuff that i explained to you last week
if you have something to claim then prove your words… and then im going to prove them wrong

Just went back and read through all those post. Ughh. Well i know im a nobody around here. But its not going to hurt anything. IMHO, id leave the TLR out. Espesicaly after useing the bar without asking permission. So i would leave them out of the FCN. Just my opinion.

indeed this bar is a great idea and so it gets my praise for the work and idea.

and please stay calmed here Op and Azza the fact will be proved by the admins and for now the bar must be removed from tlr site. so no worry to be that repelling and let the admins remove your swat links…

My opinion is: If TLR gets officialy added to the FLCN bar i want ours to be removed.

I totaly agree in most points with OP and i dont want NewUniverse to be published on this bar when TLR gets added.
The whole TLR lead has insulted me and Deadeye as nazi, gay, stupid, etc. without any offense from our side.

To make it clear: When i see a TLR link in the bar at www.cleanerbase.de ill remove the bar from our site asap.

I dont want to remove it because its a great way to get known and become new players, but this on principle.

I enjoy this site and the ideas and discussions we had have and i feel that we (or any other community) should not support TLR anymore.
They have proven theirselve more than once to be hackers and respectless towards others and their work.

Just my two cents.
