I need a Freelancer Multiplayer ID

When I installed Freelancer I went to try and play online and it asked me for a Freelancer ID. I went and looked online to figure out where I can see what my ID was, and in there spot it was suppose to tell it said “Not Found” I reinstalled it and it still wasn’t there. I tried a couple of ID generators I found but none of the codes I put in worked. Can someone help me get a code that will actually work so I can play please?

Strange, there’s no unique id to your copy of the game or anything, it usually just generates a load of characters in a box for you with the option to input an existing one if you have played before.

Well I don’t know if it would have any effect but my brother took the cd to collage with him (sorry little punk xD) so I installed it with a copy of the cd, it installed fine but it wouldn’t run so I used the no cd download. Again I’m not sure if that would effect it but that’s all I can think of.
