A UV mapping program that isnt do stubborn
-
Yeah, I know I made a post asking for someone to do it, well, gotta do it myself. Only issue is that I dont know any easy or user-friendly UV mapping and texturing programs and not alot came with the FL Dev Kit I dled from ModDB.com. Anyone know of any that are free, no trials, cause theyre limited.

Why not try Blender ? Apart from creating the 3D model and UV unwrap it you can do pretty anything with it, plus there are billions of tutorials on the net for it.
-
And it is free.

Tried it, gave me a thoughsand and one questions reguarding .mtl file, and some other questions I didn’t know of. Blender may have the right tools, but the tutorials Ive been watching and reading on don’t make sence on a few parts.

Why not http://khed.glsl.ru/index.php?page=features ?
Support for all Milkshape3D plugins

Maybe this if you use 3DS-Max. Is not free (13$) but useful and tutorial on there Webpage.

Maya is really nice for UV mapping, its what i use for all my 3d stuff.

I haven’t played around in Maya in like 4 years. I should give it another try someday cause I remember the interface and menu really made an impression on me.
