.ale files are effects, and effects are… usually animations? e.g. explosions, engine trails?
As FF has tried to educate you, GlassHopper.

Yes, I understood perfectly that Alpha channel is coded elsewhere. I just said that the section which interrest me is BasicApp_Colour and the 4 values indicated there (I will worry about the Alpha Channel later). Far from me the idea to contradict you. How could I with the level of my knowledge?

yes, I understand now, and I already knew what is a key frame (I mount videos myself). I just didn’t understood that the “Time” value ment this.
So, stop me if I’m wrong but:
value #1 = Time
value #2 = Red
value #3 = Green
value #4 = BlueIf I understand corectly I just have to worry about the last three values for colour

GlassHopper = Grass Hopper
This is the name that the Kung Fu master gave to his pupil in an old Kung Fu TV series called - Kung Fu!
But the Chinese pronounce R like L sometimes when they are new to the language, like “Flied Lice” in a takeaway when you order Fried Rice.
Hence GlassHopper!
So this was a humourous analogy to that situation, where (hopefully) you, the pupil, can learn a lot from FF, the Gland Master Second-Dan. (I don’t know who the First Dan is so I don’t want to upset him, he could be nasty).
But beware, GlassHopper: FF too is very fiery-tempered, he’s liable to let you have it and storm off and sulk for a few weeks if you upset him (I did!)
But then Caterpillar is laid-back, unlike my old pals the White Rabbit and the Mad March Hare.
Have fun. ale’s are great - mostly I was amazed because the effects I got were totally unexpected (when they finally worked!) lol
As for ml - “myrdhin=Merlin” I got that, being slighly old and grizzly and reasonably well-educated in my long and distant past, having read the story of King Arthur and the Round Table and Avon and Avalon and all that jazz - but what is the ml prefix?
It’s good to explain unusual nicknames, they are often more interesting than we first think.
For example - FF is because he kept shooting his own pals until he found out the weapons system controls were what he thought were his local and intra-spacial communications buttons in his first ship. ;0)
Mine is easy, I prefer to Trade among the Stars than make .sur files.

About 'ml’myrdhin, ‘ml’ is the contraction of ‘Merlin L’Enchanteur’ , the french translation of ‘Merlin the Sorcerer/Wizard’, it don’t mean that I’m taking myself for a wizard, it’s just that it’s a part of my culture, my roots are from a small region in the west of France called ‘Bretagne’ and in legends, Merlin is supposed to have died over there.

Bretagne is where some Brit ancestors came from, isn’t it? And is the old Acquitaine in that area of France?
And by the way, many congratulations on your English. Brits often take other nationals for granted and don’t allow for minor differences in language meanings, when they themselves speak only 3 languages - A form of English, some Gibberish, and a lot of Rubbish. <pufffff….!>o-o-0-0-O-O
