Thoughts about shipmaking and mods

Like w0dk4 says, even if FL is quiet, no doubt star citizen will spark a whole new era of modding. Bottom line though, do you enjoy making them?

-I do like making ships, except when I am to depressed too do anything.
-Star Citizen, hmm imo my ships are not on a same quality level as the SC ones, I doubt they will ever be in any SC mod.
-The proper formats…well usually convert them to cmp because they are mostly for FL, but maybe I am doing it wrong, maybe a lightwave or Max format is enough. And maybe I can follow SolCommand’s example and release a ship for DL after it is done, or dunno.

Actually I have seen you do a lot of nice ships. I was unable to test them due to them being in the cmp format.

While the next version of WTS might be the last one,
you’ll find once more a few of your ships added.TY for your nice ships.

We need an android client for FL, to get all those zombies playing,
you + me see all day running past with their eyes stuck to their handy.

@Timmy, very true, plenty of factions are still in serious needs of some ships. I lost my code for Milkshape due to a virus wiping out my Vista installation so I have no way of converting them (isn’t there a max plugin for that somewhere?)

.OBJ format is the way to go, guarantees universal useage and simple to convert to FL format. If you look at turbosquid or similar, nearly everything on there is in OBJ format for this reason.
Still a few mods being released, Genesis was the last one i saw on moddb but there are others
