Renting a Game Server

OK. Been haing issues with port forwarding on another thread but on this thread I’d like to ask about renting a Game Server.
If I decide to scrap the home server and just rent one what will I need, on average? What are you or have you run in the past? Honestly I’m looking at maybe 20 players tops and can upgrade later if needed.
US/Canada base.

Preferably WinServer2k or 2k3, 8GB of RAM and as much upload speed as you can afford.
IIRC you need at least 50k of upload speed per player you plan on hosting. So, 50 players at 50k would be 2500k or at least 2.5Mb/sec upload speed.
That used to be an issue years ago but most service providers should be able to provide at least that much.Remember, you don’t need as much as you think you do. the game is 13 years old and system requirements haven’t increased.
Any modern game server should have the chops to run the game so the main thing you need is upload speed. Also, it helps if he server is physically located near the bulk of your player base. -
Take any auctioned at Hetzner - they are very powerful for FL still!
