Current Patch Order Etc

That statement implies he used Quickfix as a base for his own work, and then applied his changes. Maybe it was just my tired eyes at the time, but just looking for confirmation, if that’s the case there should be no left over BINI encrypted files, correct?
I can just apply JFLP and be golden.

Is this is meant to be a patch for new players before installing a mod?
If it is, I should point out that Discovery has a very strict anticheat and installing it over anything other than an unpatched vanilla install will almost certainly be flagged as cheating if the files differ even slightly. That being said, we have been incorporating fixes from patches like JFLP and others like vertical strafing. Texture packs are really the only mods that work on Discovery and even then we get people setting off the anticheat.
I presume the above probably applies to other mods like Crossfire and Freeworlds.

This is meant to be a one-stop patch to play vanilla. Mods will have their own instructions, so it’d be irrelevant to them.

Or does JFLP cover all of Quickfix and then it’s own additions?
JFLP covers all of Quickfix, and unpacks all inis.
I also note that in the JFLP readme, it includes a part about not being compatible with those without it, and instructions to un-do that change
The robot traders were using people animations, causing lots of spew warnings, so I changed them. However, the server sends the character to the client, so JFLP servers would send robot characters to non-JFLP clients with people characters, and crash the client. So a server should go back to the people animations or tells its clients to use JFLP, too.

Adoxa,
As you’re aware, we use the JFLP on our server and in our mod but we advertise as being 100% vanilla compatible in that you do not need the mod or the JFLP in order to play on FLU.
We’ve been this way for years. I’ve not heard any significant number of complaints from vanilla players that they’re crashing. If this is an issue it’s news to me.
