Just another Freelancer

I recently started playing agian after a long absence. I originally bought the game way back in 2004 and obviously still have it along with a very handy game guide. Right now the game I’m playing is being played on a laptop running WinXP. I moved the whole data file from an old computer. I’m using Freelancer Mod Manager with mixed results. I tried re-playing the original campaign but only got as far as the race. After trying to run it with no sucess I thought “Screw this” and gave up. Now I’m just knocking around in sandbox mode. I’ve also been fooling around with the Genesis mod without much sucess it doesn’t want to work with some of the exixting mods. One last question, does anybody know where you can get any of the early weapons mods? I’ve got a couple installed but no Zip. file. One makes cr\ertain guns advanced beam weapons.
