Looks neat. I like the design. There is always room for improvement, but for Freelancer I think it is ok.

A nice interpretion of a human remake of the Nomad gate. It still shows those human-tech elements they seem to need to create a jumpgate with their limited knowledge, but by its shape it definitively shows it’s real origin. Also a great touch are those solar panels. I always wondered where all those tradelane routes and jump gates get all their immense energy from.

Thanks. I aim to keep it up with the art style and detail level of the game, so I guess I did it well.

@ TheDVDbear Dunno, try a differend gun model maybe.
Anyway, I made a bunch of custom turrets, guns and missiles, all they need is texturing and I probably put them into a pack.

It’s been a long time since anyone posted here (and since I posted on any Freelancer forum) so hi everybody! I learned more about texture mapping and with that knowledge I made some ship models:
The first one is a short haul freighter with a cargo capacity of 1000m3 and an approximate travel distance of 4 systems before needing refueling. The second is the space equivalent of a passenger jet, with a capacity of ~200 passengers over 3 or 4 systems. Both have a 1000m3 LH2 tank and are powered by a solid core nuclear thermal rocket engine!
I’d have more, but I have had a lot of school stuff to deal with recently. I’m not sure what I’m going to use them in yet.

Hi folks. It was a long while ago I posted anything…so here I am posting (I had and still have internet issues, or for the better term the lack of internet connection, hence the no activity).
Anyway, let me show you my latest ship:
ASD-52 “Tyr” Red Hessian VHF/Bomber
This ship marks an end of one era for me. Soon I will release a huge arse pack of 66 meshes. This one included plus with a fighter cockpit variant.
