Anyone else seen "Let the Right One In" yet?

I ran across this somewhere… probably on forums.alluc.org. Unfortunately it’s not a mainstream release (Swedish), so it’s only showing in a smattering of theaters. But it has definitely received great praise at all the film festivals, etc.
At first I kinda passed over it, maybe the title, maybe the brief synopsis, but finally I had some spare time and decided to give it a shot. I’m definitely glad I did; that was a really solid flic, and as many others mention, it definitely sticks in your head afterwards. One aspect that was so perfect was the casting, and using two leeds who had no previous experience before this movie. It fit so perfectly with their roles and made such a difference in sincerity.
Eh, anyways… yeah, if you haven’t seen it, do. Totally not your normal vampire movie, or…horror precisely. Think today will be my 5th watch Would be damn nice if they skip the U.S. re-make being planned by the tool that did …huh can’t even remember the movie’s name, but the “money shot” was with the statue of liberty’s head rolling down the street. Bout the only memorable thing about that one reallyCrouching Tiger did well with subs in theaters, so I’m not sure why they don’t think this has the same potential. Likely just hollywood wants their cash cow in english, with a 6 mil price tag and pointless effects, oh and more gore and sex, and maybe some guns for good measure.
