Missing Chars Bodies

Hello all, I’m back online now and am having some problems with one of the mods I play.

It’s got to do with the Discovery 4.84 mod.

Since coming back online, I have been going back to the servers I’ve been on, checking and updating all my chars.
Two days ago, I loaded the 4.84 Discovery mod and after making sure all my chars were still in place from server to server, I found a new Discovery server that has some great people (probably ex Disco players tired of the B$) and logged on. Well, for the past couple of days until early this morning all was fine, great encounters with other players, good running server and close to me so lag has been nill. However, around 2am EST this morning, I logged off as usual and went to bed. Around 5am this same am, I got up, made coffee, nothing out of the ordinary and opened up Freelancer, Xfire and checked out the FL game servers and what servers had players on them. I logged onto the newly discovered server I had left earlier this morning and went on to play. When loggin off, I was in open space so, returning as I did, I docked at a base to check my wares and equipment. I noticed that I have no Base Chars anywhere. Not in the Bar, Equipment Room or, in the Commodity Dealers Shop. What happened?

I have restored backups twice now, deleted the mod altogether and reinstalled it and still no chars bodies on any base I dock with. I deleted the mod from the FLMM again and deleted it from my system completely and reinstalled from ModDb and still, no char Bodies.

Please help me with this because it’s got my in an uproar. Even though this is happening, it does not in any way effect other aspects of the game. Well, I can’t get any info from anyone in the bars or areas to speak of nor, purchase any bribes if neccessary. As far as just flying around trading, kiling NPCs and the like, nothing seems to be going wrong.

I have never had this happen in all the days of playing the Discovery mods and now I’m confused as to how to fix it.

That’s not it at all. NO base has any char bodies period.

Might be a serverside ini error, nore sure since i never had such a bug.
Try contacting the admin maybe he changed something on the server.

I thought the same thing and just wanted to try it from my end first to make sure I didn’t have a bugged mod or FLMM.

It must have been serverside. About an hour later, after posting it on their forums, one of the players replied stating that everything was back to normal. He must have experienced the same. I think it fixed itself once the server reset after maintenance.

I knew it couldn’t have been me, because I went to other servers with the same mod after posting here and all was good.
