Which version are you using ?
The newest version (1.0.0.23) uses a different render engine than the older ones, because of this it isn’‘t compatable with every system, Colin believes it DX related, while I’‘ve said it’'s an OpenGL problem.
Try the older version (1.0.0.20) instead, sorry I don’‘t have a d/l link as it’'s the even older 1.0.0.18 version we have in the archive here.

Well, a simple short question. Is it possible to make new characters spawn in space, rather than in a station? I thought I read that it was doable somewhere, but I don’'t know how.

The planet archetype “planet_greenwater_4000” is, as far as I know, a correct archetype but does make me crash (flscan pointed this as problems).
Can someone enlighten me?

Well, just as it is, I´ve made a system, a base, a jumpgate, a second base, a route from base 1 to 2, a sun, a lightsource etc. But the system is is still…. Quite dead. This is due to no npcs in it at all and me not knowing how to make a (random) encounter. Can anyone tell me how to do this? ???
