Hey Helloween, I’ve already seen your post in unused features and tried it. The jump_done_effect_player adds another effect after jump_in effect so you can have 2 effects, but it still doesn’t work for other players.
jump_done_effect_nonplayer has no effect since no NPC ever come trough gate.

Disabled the jump_out effect, still no success
I just wonder why because the jump_out effect works with no problems.

Another area which I believe is either hardcoded or undiscovered yet. Here goes: there is a jump_in and jump_out effect. Jump out effect is triggered when player disappears into wormhole and jump in effect when player exits the jumpgate and arrives into the system.
I’ve made some custom effects for both of these and wanted to see how it would look in mutliplayer. So i fired up dual multiplayer (FLHack, thx adoxa) and sent one player trough the jump gate, while I used the other player to observe. The jump out effect worked and it looked briliantly for all player, however it’s totaly opposite with jump_in effect. When player arrives trough the jump gate, only the player who flew trough JG sees the jump_in effect - for other players the effect isn’t triggered at all. I’ve tried to mess around with pbubble values and priority in effect_types, even restored the original tradelanesplash effect, but no success.
Any ideas how to activate effect for all players?

Where is the atmosphere_burn effect (from effects.ini) triggered? I mean which file defines that this effect starts when you enter planet’s death zone? Or is it hardcoded (which is what im assuming it is)?
I’ve modified the atmosphere_burn.ale effect and tested it using starflier. Now when I use a larger ship, the new effect is too small. Could I define a different atmosphere burn effect for each ship?

The news item was enabled by me as it seemed a good thing for the community, since the domain had been ‘lost’ for the last year.
Also I want to clear something up. Freelancer: Continuum is not a LancersReactor mod, but a mod like any other. The only difference is, that the mod has forums at lancersreactor.org instead of having their own like FW:TOW. It also receives support with any problems they may have, but nothing more.

This works for version 1.1 of FLServer, however it might also work on 1.0.
The “006A3E” offset is the actual player count allowed by the GUI box when you first start the server. By default, it is set to 128.
“006A3F” appears to be a multiplier for the last value. It is set to “00” above, but setting it to “01” multiplies the last value by 2. For instance, it you have it set to 255 characters, this will allow you up to 511 characters. “02” allows 767 in this case, and “03” allows 1023. As of current, FLServer resets input values over 999 back to zero.
The next two offsets are the values used in a conditional statement when you click “okay” on the GUI prompt. Rule of thumb, set these two values to the same values of the first two.
Does the server is full message work with this hack? I remember once that the discovery main server using w0dk4s server limit hack was full and while trying to connect I didn’t receive the server is full msg but can’t connect to server msg.

Don’t bases in SP stay destroyed untill you load the game again? Atleast thats what I saw. Thanks adoxa for another great plugin! Do you even count how many you’ve made?

I think that something in SubmitChat prevents line breaks. If I enter a normal brake, then no text is displayed (error parsing text). I guess I’ll have to stick with multiple wstrings instead.

I’ve been messing around with FLHook commands and tried to add help command. Im just wondering how do you insert a line break?
I’ve tried , \n and also tried to modify XMLText function to replace \n with “& # 10;” (line break entity code) but the text in game still appears in one line when I enter /help. Which symbol ends the current line and starts a new one?
