Tried with 7-Zip? I didn’t download the file, but I know 7=Zip makes weird .zip files sometimes.

Compressed ini files. You need to make them uncompressed so you can read the data in them

Yup modinfo.dll is added to resources too.

And we still get a crash at Start of freelancer but it crashes at where your just about to get to the FL menu.

No idea why though

If thier Reynen’s original files then they’ve been recompressed in such a way as to stop ppl from using BINI to decrypt them, TNG is that old it was before all of the current anticheats, so this was Reynens way of stopping cheaters :P.

FlSpit is a script that removes the errors from FlSpew and sticks them in a new file, thus allowing you to see the errors without all of the rest of log entries getting in the way.

As were not cheaters:p were just a server that wants to remain on tng but just want to give it a fresh breath with a addon

Think I just found the problem, the shiparch.ini is encrypted, but you’ve added the new content to it in an unencrypted format, basically you’ve f***ed the shiparch as you can’t have both formats in a file.

To work on TNG you need Reynen’s own unencrypted .INI files, or figure out how to break the encryption on them yourself.

It seems that adoxa’s site is down, but when it comes back, I’d suggest trying to use TINI to decrypt the BINIs (get it from this page). Since it uses FL’s code to do it it should work even though the normal decryptors don’t.
