Save me at least… a ton of Info card work… thankx m8
Ok now i have a developer related Question…
Seeing as though every awesome release of .dll related goodness means I either have to do some work… or rearrange other stuff…What if anything should I “Prepare” to be altered?.. I normally use my Separate Template files for everything now (split into sections for easy access to say… Babylon/Statwars Stuff apart from Vannilla assets). Should I “realisticly” just wait untill all this is sorted? Or start planning my Eq levels now… as apart form the FL files in my mod… I also have to go alter all the template files as well with each new .dll release (sometimes takes x2 long…)
Don’t hear me wrong here… I aint bitchin, (lolz) I just like being prepared is all

I have no further plans for JFLP, so if you’ve already removed the stat lines from the descriptions, you should be okay. As for equipment, that all depends on what you want to do with it, so I can’t really say. I’ve described what I intend to do here.
-
So, I think I have a problem with the roll-feature.
Ingame, I can only roll when Im not in Mouse-Flight.Did I miss something, because in this video, it works:
-
o.O adoxa already fixed it ^^
-
Yip… the 1st version had that problem… till i b*tched about it… lol
if you have the latest (& last) version and its doing it wrong… hmmare you using any other .dll’s the order in Dacom is “touchy”…
have u a setting in your options for Anti/clockwise & roll enable?I’ve also found… switching between your standard flight (free/mouse/turret) can cause the odd… “what the?” as it needs to be switched on again when you change from free to mouse… ect… it don’t crossover automatically.
hehe… nice vid m8 8-) that’s my baby elite rolling there… all nice and customed.

oh, should’ve downloaded the latest jfp.dll, nevermind
-
Well, guys, so, is this the latest patch to upgrade to?
Or it’s not all that easy with patches?
Where can I find a patching sequence then?
As quickfix and jflip may conflict? Or may not??
-
No patch is necessary, actually. QuickFix, JFLP, 1.1, they’re all optional. Certain mods require certain patches, but it’s not uniform.
-
Hi i tried your jflp.dll to get right widescreen resolution.
All looks ok but my ship is to much behind.
http://www.imagebanana.com/view/mdab3jm8/screen728.jpg
I have 1920x1080 Resolution.
Maybe you can fix it in next version -
Doesn’t look like you’ve done it right, since the Contact List and Weapons List should sit flush with the edges of the screen. It is not enough to just use jflp.dll, you also need to modify DATA\cameras.ini, changing all the fovx values to 0.
-
[WinCamera]
fovx = 0[CockpitCamera]
fovx = 0
znear = 2.000000[ChaseCamera]
fovx = 0[DeathCamera]
fovx = 0thats my camera.ini I used to make the screen.
-
Rename [ChaseCamera] to [ThirdPersonCamera] and see if that helps. (And my mistake – it doesn’t sit flush with the edges, but the bottom.)
-
now it looks better:

tnx -
Next problem I gave it to an other m8 and his resolution is:
1440x900 but there its buggy and looks like this ^^
http://www.imagebanana.com/view/ji3d5ofv/screen31.jpg
any ideas?
He use same camera.ini like I do -
As far as I’m concerned, I never got 1440x900 to work, with any patch or mod. The closest I could get was a manual .ini file edit which made some things go out of their boxes, but it pretty much worked…. sort of.
-
@viper: That’s what happens when fovx is 0 and jflp.dll is not installed. The next version of JFLP will use an alternative method so that won’t happen (it’ll keep the default 4:3 values).
@Vesko: JFLP’s widescreen support should work with any resolution (including 3*16:9, if anyone would like to try), since it calculates the right fovx dynamically (provided it’s 0 in the ini, or using jflpac.dll).
-
I know 1680x1050 works happily as i use that. Achieved with a copy of jflpac and fovx set to 0 in the cameras.ini. ChaseCamera is renamed as ThirdPersonCamera. Had it like this for ages now. Lovely tool
-
the ever elusive 1366x768 works a charm too
U bring another JFLP out m8… woooo hoooo… That might just restart my modding batterty (lol)
-
the big difference with 1440X900 is thats a 14:9 ratio kinda, 1920X1080 is a 16:9 ratio, so iits gotta have different values, its possible to make it work.
