well I was working on a script that would let the fugitives and lsf fight it out in liberty space and this is what I get

Could you try with v2? Bear in mind the mod itself may need to be updated to even load, as v2 is a bit more strict with some requirements.

I am going to try to hard code the event anyway it will tale a little longer but wish me luck.

I took a fresh look the script and this is what I found
encounter = encounter = area_assault, 5, 0.300000
that was the problem.
