    I have a feeling you are using a beta (test) version of P1p3r’s .cmp exporter that was not finished.

    In that exporter, there are some bugs, unfortunately he has disappeared so we can’t get them fixed, it’s a shame because it’s a good exporter…

    … but we can fix the models it makes…

    Open the .cmp file with UTF Editor.

    Open the ** node, then open the Cmpnd node, then look for the Cons node.

    If your model is a one-group model, then there must NOT be a Cmpnd… Cons node in it at all. If there is one, then delete it. If then the Cmpnd node is empty, delete that too. Save your cmp file and try again to open it in HardCMP.

    But if your model is multi-group, then…
    Open the Cons node and look at the Fix node.

    If it is named Fixed then this is your problem, just rename it to Fix and save the .cmp file again and you should be able to reopen it in HardCMP.

    Is that your problem?

    If yes, then you can either use it and fix your models this way each time, or you can remove this exporter from your MilkShape folder and use cmp exporter v03 for now.

    If not, then I have no idea but check the cmp file carefully in UTF Editor, compare it with a plain FL ship.

    Shame it’s not black, otherwise very nice. I’ve had one of those knocking around for years, originally by a guy called Whitestar. There’s one in Nighstalkers Universe mod and i had one in my Galactica 2.0 mod.

    Gj Sol, I like it just the way it looks. Mount some of those chain guns like are used in that Miners Wars game and it would look totally devastating. A real awesome looking killer. 🙂

    Actually this ship has 32k polys but it’s still low poly for its lvl of detail i think.

    I’m done with the texture for this one. I really like how it turned out, dark and stuff, the only thing I’m thinking of changing is the texture for the cargo pods, what do u think, should I change it or not ?

    What is the function of those huge flaps at the sides of the front bay?

    Cargo pods - well the way they look now reminds me of military.

    How about making them more shiny and brighter like commercial airline types? Maybe with a shipper logo?

    The game this ship will be used in has a rather dark feeling to it so the ship has to be dark as well, if it was shiny it just wouldn’t fit.
    Those things on the sides of the docking bay are solar panels, you just can’t see the texture too well from the distance where I made these renders.

    Hay SolCommand how it going?

    I was hoping you would be able to model for me a fighter, i’m looking for something to juxtapose the cobra series of your which i will use for and opposing faction, anyway so what i’m after is something a little curvy but still aggressive, I like the way the F22 Raptor looks (its a fighter jet) and was hoping you could take a little inspiration from it, but it still needs to look like it belongs in space. Thanks for your time, your work was a great starting point for my mod. 😄

    BTW although i’m looking just for a fighter at the moment i will probably need an interceptor and bomber version of it too keep the sides equal, thanks again.

    Hey man. Although my time is very limited atm if you provide me some pics of what exactly you’re looking for I MIGHT give it a try 🙂 For example you mentioned an F-22, you should also show me a pic of a spaceship that could be merged with the F-22.
