Problem with cmp splicing or other.
-
I was doing some HDized textures when I see the trident corvette of Kuze. I would to add it, like a cargo pod, decorativs manoever thrusters. So I creat it with MS3D but I got some Problems with meshes scratches, to correct it I used the model cleaner, after no problems. I have regrouped all groups but the model has scratch again, the groups was only too big (triangles). I have the Idea to splice all groups I use Sushi’s cmp splic tuto I made all he has done but in game nothing. I have tried to made it has shield generator but nothing.
Here is all I’have done. http://www.gamefront.com/files/20217040/Error.zip

I rename my post and I delet my second post, and I’m exited because I paniced.

Upload the model in milkshape 3d file format. I can splice it for you.
I looked at the .cmps, and I think it would be eaiser for you to group them under one group upon exporting the .cmps
-
Here is the all mesh, you have just delet one group, export, ctrl z, delet the other group, export.
-
Ya, I’m quite aware of how to export it Um, the issue is that only the thruster stuff is there. I want the entire model with the ship included. That way I can splice it all together for you.
-
Yeah… I will do that but I prefrered to have it separatly because I dont want to touch the original model.

I didn’t have the .mat to check to see if it worked in game but give it a try and let me know how it turned out.

I have no model in game, so the game crash, and when I open the cmp the mat isn’t good. Here is the model with .mat http://www.gamefront.com/files/20220426/EUCamowithmat.zip

Interesting. I just tested the .cmp with the .mat in game and it’s working perfectly. Below is a video of it.
