Oddities

Checking on my previous post (Anomalies) first, might explain some odd things in an apparent vanilla Freelancer.
I noticed that the voices start a bit before the mouth moves, and the mouth keeps moving noticeably after the voice stops.
Voice and animation don’t always match.
And when I want to dock, my ship does several figure eights in front of the base before docking.
If I approach the base from a higher plain the docking is not so stupid. It sometimes even docks immediately.

Voices being out of Sync is a common problem in a lot of games. Could theoretically be fixed by changing animation delay timers in the .thn files that define the cutscenes. probably not worth the immense amount of effort. I’m sure DA felt the same to be honest.
As for the docking loops, I’d noticed that too. Assume it’s something to do with collision boxes and the ship making a path that won’t collide with anything.
