Nebula excluding clouds
-
Hello, guys!
I need some help. Freelancer by default exclude all clouds in nebula. I try to make another zone (ring) with another clouds, but old exclusion delete all clouds.
Who know, how make nebula don’t exclude any clouds?
Thank in advance.

Well, after reading over 10 times, i still don’t quite understand what you actually means.
If you mean, you want to add a ring to a planet that localed in a nebula, you may use a fake ring to do it.
Make a large dish model without sur, texture two side with ring texture, then you are done.
Good point of this is, you will get avoid the buggy render for ring.
And, i think, a planet in a nebula, may cannot have a traditionally ring in reality.

I think he means that the fact the planet and its ring is in an exclusion zone deletes all the cloud sprite particles you use to see when crossing through a ring.

Just make it clear: You want to make a smaller nebula placed in a bigger nebula where’s the “old exclusion” zone cut the bigger nebula to make room for the smaller nebula?
If it is, then an exclusion zone is valid for an object you assigned to. Another words, if you define the exclusion zone for the default nebule only that wouldn’t have any effect on the new one. -
Then, You can have a particle effect in a ring zone, this looks is the only way to solve this problem.

Thanks for all. I will try make particle effect.
2Davis:
I have 1 BIG nebula, 1 sphere for exclusion and 1 ring zone for clouds.
In ini-files BIG nebula exclude only sphere, but clouds in ring not generating.
