FLserver.exe decided to take the day off.

Well, FLserver just doesn’t feel like doing any more work. It’s been trying to connect to list server, and failing, for the better part of 18 hours. I’ve tried shutting off network access for all other computers, different ethernet ports on router for the server, different hard port settings in IONCROSS, NO port settings in IONCROSS, running just the flserver.exe itself, wireless/LAN connection, resetting router, power cycling modem and router, replacing the flserver exe itself, then patching to 1.1 so flhook works, rebooting the computer, nothing at all is working. I can ping the list server fine, and people can direct ip connect to the server, but it will NOT connect to list server. GLS workaround is installed, line is added into freelancer.ini for correct destination. I’m posting from the server now, so the internet works itself. I just keep getting the cycling ‘connecting to list server, connection failed to list server, connecting to list server’ repeating lines. I’ve tried everything but a windows reinstall, and since I had not added or changed ANY software when this happened, I’m not positive that will help either. This is a fresh install of Freelancer, 2 days ago in fact, and it was working then. I’m totally tapped out for ideas except a reinstall of both the OS and the game. If anyone has any further ideas on what could possibly resolve this issue, I’d GREATLY appreciate it.
EDIT: Running on Windows XP service pack 3, everything working fine until today.
EDIT2: All ports are forwarded for the correct IP on the router as well. -

For some nutball reason, the patch made it see the list server, but the list server can’t see it, and people can’t connect. You mean the FL Server, right? You have to open ports for the game (standard is 2300, should be changeable in Freelancer.ini) and of course set up the Firewall.
