Dock problems

I am trying to add a ship I resized into my mod. Before, it was big enough to devour the planet or station I was exiting. I used flmodeltool v1.0a Beta to resize it to just larger than the Civilian Eagle and now it freaks out when I try to dock with anything. I was just wondering if anyone knew what the problem was?

It shakes while flying around in circles lower and lower. It then stops a long way down from the jump gate and just shakes there.

What exactly does the .sur do?

EDIT: I have added the ship so others can view it’s problems. Split into two parts because the .mat was too big.
