HardCMP V1.0.0.23 crashes

Hello,
HardCMP V1.0.0.23 just crashes when I try to load a file, do I need some library files?? or something already installed to make it work?

V1.0.0.20 opens files no problem.

Does that happen to only one file or generally?
Try to open a cmp file without it’s .sur that might help find the bug because .surs usually cause hardcmp crashes.

Hi
all files, all origins = crash

Ther is no open just cmp option.

If I double click file then HardCMP opens but loads no file, no crash.

If I try the file open option = crash.

If I move cmp to folder on its own all I see is white, but no crash

probably the .sur then, you have to move the mat file into the folder as well for the textures to show - either that or point HardCMP at the mat file, do that by going to file/open mat

I cannot think anything else too.

You’d rather get rid of the .sur (rename, remove…etc) and -as Thaddeus suggested- move the .mat file into the same folder then check hardcmp again.

Thank you for the input, works “out of the box” on my other computer.

Are people sure there is not a more generic file library or suchlike needed?
