At least I found Freelancer for 6.90€ in a shop, there were 2 of them to be sold!

The seller even said: “Oh, finally someone who know that game!
Everytime someone don’t know what to buy, I always tell them that’s a good game, but as they don’t know it, they always refuse.”

And I can play it on my 30kg Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 2070sb CRT screen!

Yeah you’d start the level and walk into a room of Bruce Lee - Enter The Dragon infinity mirrors haha.

Fortunately Doom Builder is really good at preventing that sort of thing happening. Only time I get the mirrors these days is when I stuff up a linedef setting & forget to use the error checker lol.

ahh I actually found what the problem is and yes I think I do have a bad copy due to the fact that my account ID to type down cannot be found… but at least the single player works fine…

and it’s the game-x studios version, with the digital anvil pic on the front cover 2002 edition, not sure as to what difference it makes.

Freelancers Guild have NEVER given permission for the mod to be hosted by anyone except Freelancers Guild admins. Just to be clear.

If you want a new SP storyline, none of those mods have one. There were some mods in progress with new missions but I have no idea if any actually released something somewhat finished.

Might do a few episodes of some vanilla multiplayer after i get done with the main storyline in my LP, and then season 2 will be with the Crossfire Mod. For those of you that are actually watching my LP, I will have a new episode up tomorrow. had a mini vacation i just got back from. I’m trying to spread the word about Freelancer as best I can. I first got this game 12 years ago, and have played it on every computer i’ve owned since then, and it has held up great. Absolutely love this game.
