Here’s some i’ve done today. All of the ships i’ve shown so far are now in CMP format with a DDS texture MAT file
Sabre
Berejev ( this comes with lightmaps as well)
Thunderbolt from Wing Commander which was also in here
The “Bremen” carrier - this comes with lightmaps as well
Alliance - Baxter Base - with lightmaps
Lonestar Shuttle
Saracen
It is my intention to release all these models, i’ll never get them all into one ship pack so i’m going to split them up. I’ll re-release the original Alliance fighter ships, then the same again but with different skins, i found some with Tiger Squadron colours, then the Coalition Fighters, Coalition & Alliance Capships, Then finally some bases i’ve found as well

the names are not correct
Han Bomber = Haidar
Zhuhai = Karak
Luda = Salinand the texture of the sabre (saber) does not seem to be 100% correct

I was going by the names used for the models lol. The Sabre is the same in SL, i had a good look at it and the FL version is exactly the same

it seems to be a bit bright compared to the other SL ships
btw. I just took a look at the coalition fighters that we retextured for CF1.8 1 year ago… now im unsure which one to take… the original one with the original textures or the retextured ones with custom textures and transparent cockpits - lol
decisions ^^For the SL:SolWar game I will have to create new models/convert them. So using a high-res version of the original texture and the transparent cockpit will be the best.

i meanwhile have updated all coalition battleships that i have in CF… they look pretty cool
unfortunatly i was not able to find a texture for half of those ships so again I had to build new ones based on the textures of other coalition ships -

just like the borg cube and the thunderboldActually i just looked in the ITAC section of Starlancer. It’s a coalition ship called a Yakob Shuttle. This is in reference to the Lonestar Shuttle model

That doen’t surprise me in the slightest tbh. I checked the Zarkov again in ITAC and it was the wrong way round, so i’ve flipped it now. I keep finding wierd stuff in these files, converting anything even remotely looking like a ship or base lol

I must have been wrong then… I wonder how SL would know that that ship is upside down.

I gotta laugh. In ITAC it’s the wrong way round, in game it’s as i have it now. It looks upside down but it isn’t. I just did mission 2 where you meet one and i had it right all along .
And another thing, what’s with the Yamato and that ring round the middle? It wasn’t wearing that in game when it torped the Zakov
I found another texture for that Yakob Shuttle as well. Two skins for it and not used in game, what a crime. That’s going to change for sure lol

just remove the ring… if i remember right it was only seen in one single cut scene
you can add the “chicky von richthofen” model to the other stuff that does not belong into that game - lol

I think due to the sheer volume of models we’re talking about here i think i’m going to do things like this.
I’m going to convert them all to FL format and all will come with a DDS texture file. I’ll let you guys resize the models and hardpoint them for those that are interested of course. I simply don’t have the time to do all that as well, plus i plan some special versions of the models for my mod hehe. All the models as they were in Starlancer will of course be released. It will be like a modders resource pack where you have to do some work as well
Part of the reason for this is that there is a scaling issue here, some of these ships in game are huge and what’s big for one person maybe too big for someone else, so this way you guys can decide for yourselves. A copy of FLModelTool and HardCMP will of course be needed

Yes indeed lol, and as to that ring, seems daft it’s in there to start with. I 've got a texture issue with that ships arse atm that i’m trying to figure out. I love those torp launchers on the side, all 16 of them
