A problem.

Sweet got it to work, many thanks mates.

welcome back

Nope spoke too soon. I disable all IVP6 stuff, but still get a IP I canāt join. (picture above is what I get)
-
try to run the FL apps as admin as well. disabling ipv6 is actually enough, at least for joining a game (as i know from clients). there is for sure some documentation about how to host a game with win7.
-
Found and did this, no go.
-
I saw a post of some guy some time ago and worked well :
Go to device manager > wiew hidden devices > at network connection uninstall network teredo tunneling -
No go on anything Iāve tried. Anyone figure a fix that works?
-
the same for me it would work for a couple of minutes then crash the server. thats why i am making open single player mod right at the moment. we have to face it this is the way of the future.
-
Too bad theres no fix, I really would like to start modding fl again, no test server makes it difficult.
-
can you dual boot your computer i personally would like to try that some day. have one partition be windows xp or if you have a spare computer just taking up dust that has xp on it it would work. thats what i did for a while until my xp machine gave out. would like to build a mini system with a dual core cpu i have in the house but i lack the funds right now.

Bitdefender is a standard program in Windows 7. It comes during installation of the OS
You can disable it by:
Control pannel - System management - Services
Windows defenderDoubleclick on that. Stop the task and put it on disabled.

little curious do you have a nvidia Ethernet adapter ?
what kind of motherboard do you have? -
-
Interenet card is:
atheros ar8131 pci-e gigabit ethernet controller
-
obviously your IPv6 is still being enabled, somewhere, somehow. and if so there must be a way to disable it entirely, at least temporarily.

Networkcentre - Lan connection - Properties - dismark internet protocol ipv6 (tcp/ipv6)

To disable IPv6 properly you need to change values in the registry, you canāt just turn it off.
