Problem with custom missions

A couple of obvious things only…
° Vignette zones whose centre is 34000km or more from the issuing base will not be considered for missions. 33500 is fine, I haven’t tried 33999km! The two vignettes you show us here are both more than 34000 from the base so I can’t see how you can get missions in either one of those, but you may have more that are within 34000 if you are seeing missions?
° There is no need to declare mission_type = , I now leave all of mine blank without mission_type entries. I have not experimented to verify what others say will happen with combinations of lawful and unlawful. Blank allows all.
° Vignette_type:
 open = open area, clear space, all types of missions permitted.
 field = no stations or large object since this vignette should be in an asteroid field, unless:-
 exclusion = there is an exclusion zone defined within this zone which is clear of asteroids etc, and missions against stations can be made in that exclusion zone within this vignette zone.** You must define a zone_vignettexx_exclusion zone with the same centre as this zone, where xx is the same number as this vignette zone’s number, and size is usually 600.
** This exclusion zone must be listed in the surrounding asteroid or nebula field zone’s .ini file too.
° The zone toughness of the surrounding pop or asteroid or nebula or other zone does not obviously affect the mission difficulty, I set mine to 14 or 16 or 19 usually.
** But it does affect the encounters in this zone! If it’s lower than the number in the encounter = line then that encounter will not happen.
° Set a lower mission difficulty first (e.g. 1.7, 28.5, 100) and see if any missions are generated, then you can move it up to see when they stop. I have found that not all factions will offer any high-difficulty missions, I don’t know why.
° Factions that are not enemies with very many other factions may not issue missions at all. I made a couple of new factions with 5 enemies or less and they just would not issue missions against any of their enemies. There may be a key faction that they must be friendly or hostile to, I don’t know. No time to experiment more.

First of all thanks for all the ideas and hits, but sadly nothing helped so far.
So i went back to playing witht the base faction and i found out that i get missions with every vanilla faction (looks at the screens below) those two screen are only examples, i tested 6 other factions on both the planet and its orbital station and i got missions every time, but as soon as i use the tauri faction as base faction and for offering missions i get nothing than to many players come back later.

Well here is another update.
None of my custom factions will offer missions no matter which level the missis are.
But all of them can be the target of the missions, is there something that can prevent factions from offering missions?
Or is there a ini that i’ve missed to add my factions to to make them offering missions?Regards
MindEdit: Well i had the idea that could a problem that all my custom faction names are saved in custom dll’s but than fc_or_grp should even work cause their name short_name and info are also saved in a custom dll.

If u look at the sg03.ini u will see that i alrdy removed all mission_type lines from the vignette zones.
Also all encounter zones have a toughness = 19
And StarTraders fixtopic at seriouszones ( http://forums.seriouszone.com/showthread.php?t=57767 ) will also not fix the problem cause if that would be the problem i should not get missions from vanilla factions.Regards
MindP.s.: Please keep posting your ideas, i’m specialy interessted in ideas why a specific faction wouldn’t offer missions.
Note: I added tauri missions to freeport 9 and they also dont offer something there. I’m more and more sure that it is a faction problem, i might need to make a minimod within one custom faction etc.pp.

Well the bug is fixed.
Schmackbolzen (my hook programmer and a modding noob) found out that i need to add the nu_tauri_grp into the vignetteparams.ini so i replaced "offer_group = "with "offer_group = nu_tauri_grp, " anyway thanks for the help.
Would be good if dwnundr could add that to his tutorial.
Maybe its not always required but on NU it is.Regards

Yes ofc, we only put them in the right spot and since it is so obvious I ask myself why yet no one could find the issue, mindhunter gave all the info you needed to point it out. I found it using notepad++ and simply searching for a vanilla faction in all .ini files.
