hmm did your router stop working somewhere on saturday?
You had to reboot the thing because you couldn’t access the internet anymore?Let met post something from our data base.
lid uid ip_address timesdl datedl
23 0.0.0.0 1 2009 19th August
727 0.0.0.0 2 2009 21st August
728 0.0.0.0 270 2009 21st August
729 0.0.0.0 1 2009 21st August
990 0.0.0.0 14985 2009 23rd August
Ok, the “lid” is the download.
the “uid” is the user id wich is you.
“timesdl” is the times your IP downloaded it.
“ip_address” should be simple… and i added a date.lid 728 is download name: FactionEditor1_2.zip
lid 990 is download name: FLScan_1.3_Installer.msiIm not saying you did it, its just that this IP hits a lot of time, and we got a lil worried.
I do want to believe you, and we do believe you for now. But i realy think you should check your security a bit.

Can you might delete the IPs from the public and send him a PM about those?
IPs in public forums may cause some trouble somewhere later. -
Yes, i remember i have download those files, but in friday, and i have fail the download because server reset my connection. Actually, i have recorded a gif for it, and ready to report to a admin, but i dont know who is boss of TSP.
You may take few sec, i will boot my computer and upload that gif.
Edit – OK, Here it is:
OK guys, Now is 3:31 AM, i must sleep… I just want to make you know, im not a trouble maker…
Edit – I check my LAN, only 3 computers in this network, and all of it is safe. I think that is the Stat problem of IDC, i just guess.
All Routers in my LAN is …Junior… i mean that so basally…do you know the TP-Link and HuaWei household products… all of it is low-cost…So no one can hack my routers and change the statistical data -
download manager with multiple streams… its very likely that the webalizer software caught this as 1000 downloads whereas he only downloaded it a few times
(most web logging programs dont log the actual traffic that goes through the line, but only look at apache’s access logs, therefore counting every started download as a valid download) -
Then where do the 10gb worth of bandwidth consumed come from?
That’s what Worfeh said was taken in just a single day, while we usually only have 2gb/day.
-
Very true, if you look at our DB…
Than again the hits is a lil much as well, but thats a different discussion.
I got my initial info from the Apache log files. And that measures data flow as well.
And the download manager will stop at 50 connections, and will get a full block from the security software we run here.
So its a no no to download managers 8-)
EDIT:
For me the case is closed, we now know where it came from and looks like i have to enable a different data flow watcher.
Removed all IP related info.
My excuses go to Nexosu.

Hey FF, Im back. Strange, i trying to connect TSP at daytime, but DNS respond Unknow Host….
So, thats mean im Free, im feeling good
Edit – If TSP only have 2gb/day i suggest remove download to other service or place, i think p2p share is a good choice.

What he said was that we are on a average of 2gb bandwidth a day. We have unlimited bandwidth, but i don’t like it when one IP uses a lot of bandwidth…

My 2 cents: may be his provider uses NAT like mine in which case many users have the same IP.
I have my own IP only inside provider’s network and i go to the outside through one of about 20 NAT-servers and share that server and its outer address with many other network users.
