While I believe this post is long since dead, And also believe that what I’m about to ask is located somewhere else on this website, I’m just going to go ahead and say it anyway.

I was wondering if you’d be so kind as to help me import ships from homeworld to freelancer. People make it sound rather easy, And I don’t doubt it is, But commonly with things like this the first step is often the hardest.

use the tools to export the models to obj or 3ds

rest is how to import obj or 3ds saved models to fl - see the tutorials here at tsp.

you’ll need to use the modded texture upgrades of the HW community to get a fair result - the vanilla textures are, let’s say not “up to date”. It’s a mod - so please be fair and honor their usage restrictions in your project before you will release something.
