I finally made the next video in the Freeworlds 2.0 Development Saga
The fighter arena didn’t come out as well as I wanted on the video. Basically, when I’m screening all around, I’m showing how there are mines encircling the entire 2km radius duel arena.

Some new information for you guys about the FW 2.0 Development!
System Layout:
The new layout contains 19 systems. Their position have been made according to StarWars canon as much as possible.
The trade routes run from the outer rim systems, that provide basic commodities, to the core worlds, where more complex products are made, like ships. Then back to the outer regions, where these products are deployed.
A dynamic economy has prices changing due to offer and demand, as well as basic products that are required to rebuild capital ships that have been destroyed on our weekly Territorial Engagements.
New Bases:
Here is an example of the new bases CzW and Mirkha from the French FW are making for 2.0 and their French Mod:

Looking very good there Sushi

Thanks, Gibbon! That’s a big compliment coming from a modder like yourself
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kekzl0LyOZ8
This is the 6th video in the FWs 2.0 Development series. This video showcases the three new systems we’ve been making, NPCs and MC80 fuse effects. A big thanks goes out to EvilleJedi for his amazing models and Forsaken from the Shattered Worlds mod for use of his Nebula Texture.
-
I like the Bespin, and I was try to make one, but I think no one can be good more then your.
Nice work Sushi, I will keep looking your great mod.
-
Thanks for the compliment, Jong! Our team has more great things in store

Are you for Hire Sushi.
Excellent work mate, really loving the eye candy! ;D
Thanks for the kudos blush. I can’t take all the credit, though. Most of it should go to Dev, who made the basis of what we’re doing right now, EvilleJedi for the models, Templar for improving the textures, Qi for Bilbringi and Forsaken for giving us permission to use his Nebula texture.
I really am looking forward to pushing FL to its limits. With the great support and tutorials I’m find here at the Starport, I’m sure my team will be able to do that.
-
And I’m just as honored to know this site may help you push the game’s limits in your already excellent mod, Sushi

Wow ! CzW !
That is a great news !
You mean that you have a tool to make sur file form easy way ?
-
Hey Cz.
I think the entire FL community could use your tutorial now. I’m hoping for 2.0 to be released sometime July 2009. I’m pretty sure there are a lot of modders out there that could use your tutorial now. So, please, there is no need to keep your technique secret. I’d, personally, rather you share it with this community here.
However, this is your call.
Regarding the images, great work as always, CzW
