The wonderful thing about getting readily built space station models like this is that it saves having to attempt to come up with unique modular station designs for everything else! ;D

Definitely. We cut up the ISD in seven parts and then put it back together. I’d have to make a tutorial for the nit gritty, but Sovereign made me 7 different .cmps. In the main .cmp I put in the HpAttach01-HpAttach06. For the other 6 .cmps I put in HpConnect at 0,0,0 - since all the .cmps were based around that. I put in the proper code in the solar\loadouts.ini file, and the proper entry into the solararch.ini. The whole trick of it was making the 6 .cmps “shieldgenerators”. The game then attaches them to the ship that way
Dev pioneered this trick about 2 years ago. Aldebaran used it for his scenery components.
So, this 130k poly model, is essentially 7 15k models to the FL engine. To us, it looks as one 130k model.

Ya, when I find the time to do it, I’ll make one. The issue right now is that I’m doing a few tutorials for some peeps in different mods and its getting busy in med school now, so, you’ll have to wait a few weeks until things settle down for me.

Thanks for the compliments, boys. Only reason why we have such well trained people are:
- We’re friggin’ stubborn (all Devs are this way)
- Great tutorials and help here at TSP
- We have the power of the ZOMGBAYZ on our side
Also, I’m really excited to see what the merger of War Torn and Shattered Worlds can make. There’s another awesomely trained crew.
Anywho, more cool stuff coming down the pipe. I’ll post eye candy when I get the chance to show you guys!
