Mouse flickers and disappears

Could use some help with my fresh install of freelancer.
I got it all working perfectly with one rather annoying perception, my mouse tends to disappear and flicker in game. I’ve checked Disco, Reddit and starport for info but so far no dice. Anyone got experience with this issue? Some graphics on menus can tend to stretch out with weird lines as well if that’s any help.

Try plugging the mouse into a usb 2.0 port just for giggles. I had a problem with a piece of software that would intermittently lose my mouse when it was plugged into the usb 3.0 port.

Cost’s nothing to try it out.

For the graphics issue I’d just try updating your drivers or finding a driver version that works with the game.

It’s the visual part that flickers and disappears completely at random. I can still see the menu buttons light up when I mouse over them but the mouse is basicly invisible.
Thanks for the tip tho, was worth a shot.
