    Go to loadouts.ini in your SOLAR directory.
    There you have to look for “space_arch”.
    Remove the last both entries.
    equip = space_arch_shield_gen01, HpShieldGen01
    equip = outer_sanctum_shield, HpShieldFx

    A lot of what we thought we knew before is being rediscovered by adoxa as he goes through the FL engine.

    The only way to confirm either way is by setting up the right tests having one vignette zone only so there is no confusion, and try it out.

    That is exactly what F!R wrote .
    I know about those , i thinked long time ago about this , in the days that i played freelancer on other servers with altered .ini files , long time ago when security wasnt so important . And i remember why i quit so fast and didnt wanted to play anymore , cheats ruins all games and is nothing good in this .
    So i saw there is no method to make the 2 explosion damage mine (or missile).
    A big issue in my opinion is the shields system - normally for example if you hit with 500 damage and target ship has left only 250 shield points it was naturally to supress shield and take 250 hull damage , but in freelancer first time i saw this anomaly .

    I would recommend the XML Project, but since I came in late, everyone’s more familiar with Lancer’s ALE Editor. With XML, the number before the colon is the time (in seconds, I think). At least, I presumed that first number to be timing, but there are some negative values; maybe that’s just Freelancer screwing with us…

    Here are my speedtest results.

    Since your players can connect, you don’t have port problems.

    To open ports, open your firewall settings, click on the Exceptions tab, ensure “Display a Notification when Windows Firewall blocks a program” is checked, click OK and start Freelancer. You should get a warning and should be able to check “Always allow”. Start FLServer.exe and you should get another warning and select “Always allow”.

    The other way (not so reliable) is to add Freelancer.exe and FLServer.exe to the programs list in the Exceptions tab. (Click “Add Program” and browse to find Feelancer.exe and FLServer.exe).

    You can open the ports (click “Add Port” and give it the port number (2300, 2302, 2303, 2304) and a name eg “UDP 2300” and check UDP) but I found this is not reliable either.

    If you have no success or if Freelancer is in the Exceptions list then delete all of the Freelancer and FLServer entries and start both of them, one at a time, you should then get the warning messages and be able to allow them.

    Important: “Microsoft DirectPlay8 Server” must be in the Firewall Exceptions list too, or your players will not be able to connect.

    @ Chips- I’m not sure where the planet spheres have come from… my friend sent me those about 2 months ago but he cant remember where they actually came from. I was in hope that one of TSP wiz kids would be able to claim em.

    you can code a story mission like that, Nightstalker. but no, random missions have no such content. there are always fighter wings, whether you have to eliminate one target or engage the whole patrol. (let’s just consider weap platforms or pseudo-stations as an addition to the usual case).

    Don’t forget you do need to launch for your location to register.

    So if you have just changed your start location to the new sysem and base then started a new character but didn’t launch, this is probably your problem.

    Checked this but it doesn´t fix this issue 😕
