Resizing Ship

Hi everybody
I need help for one thing :
I have a model, but he is too big, is there anyway to resize it smaller from the CMP without to have to re hardpoint it ?If needed, i can upload the CMP.

i have it, but i don’t know what is the procedure to make the ship smaller, i can make it bigger but not smaller

i’ve tried some values like -1 or -3 but i havn’t think about enter a value such 0,3 or 0,7

Just to add my 2 cents:
I think you should also rezise the corrosponding SUR-File of the ship.
There is an option in the FL-Model Tool to use the values of the new CMP-File
in order to rezise the SUR matching its new size. -
Yes, i have do it, i always resize SURs with this tool

I’m probably repeating what you already know, but in case someone else might need it:
First you resize the .cmp by 1,8 or 0,2 or anything, and it’s “comma” not “dot”.
Then you resize the .sur by “Automatic to cmp” or other, value 0 - ~.It works fine with custom ships et.all., but vanilla has problems.

It will only work with type 112 VMeshData (position, normal and one texture). You can usually see the type in the VMeshLibrary name (e.g.: data.ships.border_world.bw_fighter.bw_fighter.lod0-112.vms). Updating FLMT is something else I’ve yet to get around to. I did write a separate SUR resizer, though.
