It turned out that I had an older version of HxD; I installed the new one and this one indeed has the Data inspector 🙂

I applied the hacks but unfortunately they don’t work for me (I checked twice). My test system is at -1.7, 3.70, so it should work, according to WhiskasTM’s description…

EDIT instead of changing said values to 112000/-112000, I changed them to 150000/-150000, and now it works 🙂

Actually last time I was unable to post until I logged out and logged in again (like others described). The other times I had to wait some minutes and it worked then. Trying multiple times without waiting always resulted in the session timeout message. For PMs it is even worse: You just get an empty black window.

Edit: Since I did the logout and login afterwards I did not have any problems (like with this post), but that might just be coincidence.

Back in time when i’ve a done a mod, i used FL Explorer to do paths. It makes it much more easier, copy/paste the ini text generated in the actual system i wanted to edit.

Those paths, tricky as hell, isn’t it!

Check out the FLU server, see if it’s what you’re looking for. If it is I can create a standalone mod that will add the system having the dyson sphere and the interior of the dyson sphere. The Dyson city is not dockable in this mod.

Lol, today is exactly a month later than my review. I hardly play NMS anymore; it rapidly got tedious, plus the Dev team keeps releasing updates that are intended to fix things, but these seem to also randomly change how things work; besides they introduce new errors (or at least, issue-ish phenomenons). So, that is that.

I purchased both Empyrion: Galactic Survival and Space Engineers. These are both games where you find yourself having to build your own stuff (bases, vehicles). I haven’t much looked into Space Engineers sofar, but I am learning to get along in Empyrion (at least, with the building function in creative mode.)

Both of these games are in their alpha stages, and have been that for several years by now. Seems to be the trend.

Run the .cmp file through FlModel tool. Resize too a low amount like .99 then save. This should zero position. If this doesn’t work try resetting zero with FladdRadius (both progs are in downloads). If both don’t work go back to modeler and zero the model (x0, y0, z0) on you model’s center point and re-export.

Not quite sure yet, but it might have been caused by an erroneous (duplicate) path_label

Went back and asked “Mister Marketing” he gave me an exlpaination of the two different fonts on the tagline. Makes perfect sense. The european marketing went out to a firm “over there”. They did a redo of the text. U.S. version will have dunstep font, eurpean versions will Not have the dunstep font (one with characters for most languages), beacuse europe marketers used more than an english language font
(go figure ). Dunstep might have a bit of a problem with Greek or Finnish.

Makes me sorry my foriegn languages are Spanish and Latin.

Big Edit. Microsoft wanted promo release because Freelancer won awards. Games always want to re-brand when they do. Even if they have to buy a couple to parade. Though Microsoft wouldn’t.

Lol, I now have PTSD: everytime I dock at a trade_lane I’m almost losing it.

I had issues with an older version on the no cd Freelancer.exe that cleared up with the new version I got on the downloads page.
