You should put the modded one back if you intend to keep playing beyond the story.
As for JFLP, dunno why that would be causing problems - it should just install itself. (And remember itâs a patch, not a mod, so donât use FLMM to install it; in particular, donât install jflp.dll to freelancer.ini, since that being added to [Resources] is all I can think your problem would be).
For easy frequent use I made an image (.iso) of my FL CD using ImgBurn and I use Virtual CloneDrive (a virtual CD/DVD drive) to mount it when I need to.
Sure, draw distances for fog and clouds etc are in data/solar/nebula but youâll find that each individual nebula has itâs own file so thereâs no quick edit for that one.
And as far as I know the official patch does NOT change the version-number shown in the right-bottom corner of the menu even when the patch was successfuly applied⌠(bit strange to me since the patch is called â1.1â)
So no need to worry about it. (<â---------just my opinion)
anyways⌠i think the link up there in the previous post will solve ur problem if u want to build your own mod-version-number.
Strange. Iâve not experienced it but could it be your Fraunhoffer encoder out of order?
Iâm using XP, so check in your Control Panelâs equivalent for this:- Sound and Audio Devices - Hardware - Audio Codecs and look for the Fraunhoffer MPEG Layer 3 Codec to be present, click on it, click Properties, ensure it is âusedâ and you can change the priority (move it up in the list).
Also open your Audio Mixer (double-click on your speaker icon in the system tray) and ensure all appropriate devices are enabled.
Already checked on my router, itâs off too.
UPDATE : Itâs now working, it was UPnP. Freelancer thought that the router didnât forwarded the port so the game port forwarded again via UPnP and conflict happens.
It seems there wasnât a problem in game itself, but rather with windows OS. I solved the problem by picking a tip from Microsoft community, to run sfc.exe, to cehck system files for problems. System file checker found some problems and fixed them and now FL works fine.
