    The thread specifically and repeatedly mentions that the DDOS DLL only works under Windows 7/Windows Server 2008.

    You really aren’t helping your chances by sticking with such a vulnerable piece of shit as XP.

    Also, FL resolves the IP of the server and displays that, so a DNS is pointless.

    Ive had multiple HDD failures with my servers and thats always troublesome.

    Webservers usually can rely on raid but even then it takes a good amount of time until all data is back after a HDD replacement (most likely several days if there is lots of data).

    Root server in most cases require to do manual backups (most root servers come with a ftp backup server). If backups were taken then there is a good chance to restore everything with minimal loss.

    Im pretty sure people are already working on it to get everything back online.

    I have considered abandoning the source or moving to something like mono, however this project started as an XNA project, it should end as one, also there’s really little need to move to another framework

    XNA Works in Visual Studio 2015 XNA Works in Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 7, Windows Phone XNA provides a robust 3d framework which you can use with C#

    These are for me the three points which truely matter to me, I will likely not make any new projects in XNA, however this project started in 2010, that is why the choice for XNA, at that time, XNA was still alive.

    I tested it with mix_s019b, but now it varies wildly, First the audio is a little bit faster, but barely noticeable, and in the end the video is much much faster than the audio.

    You should still try to use UTF Editor instead. Seems like you haven’t looked at it in the past few, oh, years, since it includes a full visual UI and far more advanced tools for setting up hardpoints than HardCMP.

    if you want to change zone.dll text to your language you dont need compile and c++ programs. just find a hex edit program and open zone.dll find this lines which shown on the screenshot im attached. Iam using hexplorer program for this.

    Do not forget the spaces of letters are should be 00 on left side hex codes if you want to show break between two letters break hex code should be 20 not 00.

    0D is char number of enter zone
    0A i left zone char name

    0D means 13 char
    0A means 10 char

    if you want inrease or decrease letter number increase or decrease 0D and 0A(ex for 20 char change 0D to 14 this is about hex lang) and if you want to insert new char use insert button on keyboard.

    rmlootinfo.ini - is it used in conjunction with lootprops.ini, overrides it ?

    Lootprops - regular drop works in addition to random mission drop when there are also regular NPCs at ware zone i think

    Not only that. Normally you can see other ships’ collision group’s health, but not your own. By selecting your own ship you can check any damage to your collision groups (such as wings).
