I tried to kill some Kusari capships with my Sabre with Difficulty Scale at 1 and I was destroyed easely… X’D So it’s hard to kill a Kusari Battleship + 2 Dest + 3 Gunships even with one of the best fighter and weapons. So I think it’s a good start to improve my skills rather than making faighters able to use their Nano/Bat

IW Battle

It’s between Schmack remaster and mine. Mine was quite weird to hear because that didn’t fit to the global ambiance of the track but here it fits more to the general ambiance without sacrificing some punch and clarity.

@ Schmack : Many thanks to you for your criticism that allowed me to push this remaster so high. Now I’m satisfied because you showed me a way to recreate the ambiance and also avoid background noise. I just combined our 2 works to give something better. I would like to know what you think about that.

I’ve already thought about some point you mentioned! I’ve just never talked about it. As for tachyon… O_O Imaginary mass… Hmmm… It’s complex. But I don’t remember of positron weapons.
I was just focusing on stars because I’ve never seen these sorts of inaccuracy in a game! Because of the fact that not so much game give the feature of selecting stars.

It’s me or you that is missing the forest for the trees? To know. Because if it’s me I can say that I really enjoy this game, the story is good, the battles are nice, the tiny looking univers is a strength because it makes the game less boring and dynamic.

A couple of minute later : I’ve tried to do something. Increasing a value in solararch.ini doesn’t fix the problem and no change at all.

I’d assume, loading the autosave would crash your game.

The reason might be, that the map / visit data in your autosave is different, from the status in your game.

A possible work around might be to keep you char in a system you don’t change.

What would be awesome is for you to get SolCommand to re-do the Vanilla models, and for you guys to texture them.

That would be the ultimate HD upgrade to the ships!

Sizer’s Tuts

Tried SLI twice, back in the day with two 7900gtx and then with two 260gtx. I came to the conclusion that it’s just a waste of money and power consumption when all is said and done. There was some sense back then because 1900 x 1200 wasn’t the standard benchmark for gaming and you needed the horsepower, but now, your 660ti will cope with anything 1900 x 1200 so long as you don’t want a shed load of msaa.

Unless you’ve simply got the bug and have to try it, or you’ve got a multi monitor setup, save your cash for something else or the next gen. If it eventually becomes necessary a year down the line they will be lots cheaper by then too, so at least wait for a better price.

I have tested and you have entirely reason! it’s daylight robbery! No! it’s awesome, it implies that Freelancer engine and texture filter are really better than video upscales! Now I can reduce the number of pixels! I can’t believe my eyes! But I believe uniquely what I see.

THX to have advised me of that! I will give you a credit in the next release.

btw, unless the mesh is grouped appropriately already, I’d prefer exporting them myself from lwo or obj. but they seem to be grouped quite detailed already…

Try using flscan2, pretty freakin good at catching encounter problems.

Gorgs ships will be the easiest, there are no glitches with theme.

BTW, Nexus is an awesome Game with exellent graphics and amazing scenario as far as a fabulous gameplay.

Did you remember how it was difficult to destroy all Gorgs ships on the 3rd episode Mission 1? And to save all Vadrags when you are near their outpost?
