    Fooling a while with those cloaks,
    WTS has usually 1a set of a no-cloak
    and one cloak-able ship - the cloak 1
    with worse stats in handling, shielding and weapons.
    Result: almost no one uses those cloak ships.

    IMHO it would be cool to have

    shields keeping completely off-line while cloaked
    (maybe at least drop shield once more, when uncloaking) cloaks using power
    and something like weaponsmoddb for scanner - cloak relation

    PS:
    And weapons keeping off-line till the end of the uncloaking process
    or even a second or 3 longer.

    Basic modding is simple, but when it comes to flhook programming or writing plugins im stucked.
    (and i dont want to bother anyone)

    Its cool that ToW will have all the FL Coding features and that u r planing to share it with the public, but pls dont hide ur secrets šŸ™‚

    Raising ANOM_LIMITS_MAX_VELOCITY can affect the speed of your weapons if they are so programmed. The standard limit may have capped them at a certain speed, so raising the virtual speed limit could unleash them. Just something to check for.

    So Iā€™m assuming the format with no replacement commodity should be thus:

    zone_Bw08_beryllium, 0.75, , 5000, 100000

    Or should it be like this?

    zone_Bw08_beryllium, 0.75, 0, 5000, 100000

    Isnā€™t it pointless to have levels on the multi-player side of things? Since the only missions are the ones you choose that can be scripted with experience or level rewards to my knowledge, thereā€™s not really much of anything to support a leveling process in multi-player unless its done according to the amount of credits that you have.

    There was a sort of ā€¦ perk/talent system that I had an idea for but I never fleshed it out.

    From my experimentation:
    The first two edits define left and right, you can have one or the other, of course itā€™ll only work one way unless you have both.

    The other twoā€¦ Well, if you donā€™t have both and youā€™ve edited the first two it ctds, so I got no clue what they do by themselves. xD

    I wouldnā€™t go any deeper into it because itā€™s all just letters and numbers to me. :<

    Hey FF, you donā€™t happen to still have a copy of my INI coding style or the stargate daedalus ship mod I did several years back with the plasma beam weapons do ya? lol - I know itā€™s a longshot.

    Itā€™s just Iā€™d rather save myself having to re-create the coding from scratch heh, if not no big I just thought Iā€™d ask thatā€™s all.

    Mouse Flight and Free Flight are two separate thingsā€¦

    Hit escape, or click the free flight iconā€¦ when you hit ā€œGOTOā€, the game sets course to a specific set of coordinates. Changing the waypoint does not change these coordinates. You must cancel the GOTO (clearing the coordinates set) and then target the new waypoint and click GOTOā€¦ this will set the new coordinates for autopilot.

    Zero linear drag means no slow down whatsoever, but the impact of this kind of change is far more profound than just putting a minimum speed limit.

    Feel bad for posting this and then finding the answer on the same dayā€¦ but after weeks of trying, I thought Iā€™d askā€¦

    I started lookin around in .thn files, li_01_equipment_ambi_s005_ship_01.thn references an rtc ship. After finding the match in rtc_shiparch.ini, I found the reference to cv_starflier under ā€œrtcprop_civ_fighterā€ā€¦ changed that to point to the clone and walla!! Figured Iā€™d post the findings rather than delete the post in case someone else ever has this complication.

    Ok, using the 1.1 patch and 1.6 hook, still nothing. Is there a special number I should put it at? I thought 0.9 is max that you can get.
